November was a fun month of travel and still furnishing the apartment. One of these days I’ll get the moving completely done.

Finally bought and put up curtains on the balcony. Now we can block out the sunshine that is hitting the couch (and me) directly. What is also nice about the curtains is they block the one sprinkler that keeps getting Alicia’s side of the couch wet. Shoutout to my wonderful mother-in-law who actually helped Alicia get the rods and curtains up.

I made two new friends at Animal Kingdom.

Got some nice pictures at Magic Kingdom. Looks like these might make it onto the Christmas card this year.

Made it home to Matawan for Thanksgiving and had a lovely time with family. Alicia ran again in the Turkey Trot, along with some other crazies in the family. Tom got to visit Starbucks in town and have lunch with his friend Jack.

Tom watching Alicia and the rest of the family at the traditional bowling get together. Not to mention some other friends who joined us. Nothing like greasy bowling alley food to sit on top of all those Thanksgiving leftovers I’ve been eating the past number of meals.

Our first and last attempt at drinking pickle milkshakes, we both were not a fan. I bought them thinking they were going to be small so I got two. If I knew they were the size of a mason jar I would have gotten only one. Nothing like burping up pickles and vanilla milkshake for the rest of the day.

Went for one of our lunch dates to Animal Kingdom. Nice part about living so close is that we can treat it like a zoo and just go see the animals. Now with my luck the first animals I saw were the elephant animatronics in the Rainforest Cafe. The second animal I saw was the squirrel in one of the exhibits. Don’t worry, we did eventually see animals, the first few were just very well at hiding.

As we got off the Ferry at the Magic Kingdom the sun was setting behind the Grand Floridian and it was beautiful. This picture dose not do it justice.
